As a working girl, I’m usually looking for any and every way to spice up my day-to-day wardrobe. I really enjoy getting dressed for work – whether that means pulling on a dress or just throwing together something that I’m happy to walk out of the house in. As long as it makes me smile I’m ready for the day. It’s a little thing that helps me feel productive and awake … kind of how most people feel about their morning coffee!
That being said it can get really expensive and difficult to continue to come up with new outfits everyday. A crisp black blazer is your best friend when it comes to extending the wear of your more seasonal items. This drop waist peplum dress was a summer favorite of mine, but heading into the Fall I need to make it more practical for the weather and turned to this Jones New York blazer to help me out.
I can pull a blazer on over it for a simple way to make this LBD almost look like a flouncy skirt and boom – instantly refreshed into a new outfit for the week! I paired it with simple two-toned camel and black accessories for an office chic feel. This Danielle Nicole satchel was a welcome to New York gift from Danielle and will be a go-to for my new commute when I need to tote around my heels and necessities to and from work. How do you extend your summer wardrobe into the Fall?
