Leather dresses and skirts can be intimidating. Shoot, leather in general can be intimidating! The day I found this H&M dress I remember thinking, “I really hope I actually wear this” and I will admit – sometimes it’s a struggle. I’ve found that layering is the best way to cut the edge down a bit. As Fall dwindles into Winter, I am hoping to pull a sweater on over this and pair with tights and boots so that my leather dress can also double as a skirt. This vest is one of my favorite quick & easy change ups to throw on over just about anything.

If you live in or ever visit San Francisco, take a tip from fellow blogger Krystal Bick and head over to Jeremy’s department store. As a vintage/consignment fan, I appreciate that they have glass door closets full of everything from Chloe to Marc Jacobs and a wall that will make a designer shoe lover squeal of excitement. I hit the size 5 jackpot finding these Alexander Wang’s there on my recent visit!

How do you wear leather as we transition to Winter? Do you struggle to find pieces you would actually wear? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
