Happy Monday! How was your Mother’s Day weekend? Ours was very quiet and relaxing which was much needed after a week of playing catch up. I’m feeling rested and restored just in time for another very busy week and trip out of town!
This weekend I’m heading to Chicago to celebrate one of my best friend’s last days as a bachelorette! I’m looking forward to seeing some of my closest friends and reuniting over some laughs and lots of fun plans. This will be a busy week leading up to it as well with a very fun dinner with The Everygirl and some other girls I adore here in the city.
Today’s 5 Happy Things has more of a focus on skincare! I’ve really been taking care of my skin in preparation for summer and wanted to share some of my favorite new discoveries:
1. I recently had a chance to experience the Bliss Fabulous Facial with the new drench n’ quench moisturizer at the end and it was just what my skin needed coming out of months of dryness. I am not usually a facial girl and actually had been hesitant to try one after a rough one years ago, but was absolutely ecstatic with the results and how moist my face has been since.
2. Last week at a beauty event uptown at The Carlyle with Allure we went home with these little Foreo mini cleansers. I had seen them before and had never tried one myself. I used it that very night and saw instant results – my skin felt cleaner and smoother than I could ever have gotten it with my normal face wash routine. I’m curious how different the large version is but I’m loving this mini one for traveling!
3. I just started using some Rodial skincare and makeup products recently and have been floored thus far with the results. After my recent discovery over face masks, I’m excited to give another one a shot and see what the results are like.
4. Have you heard of M. Gemi? They’re a newer shoe line and just came out with a beautiful flat espadrille in 4 colors!
5. If you’ve been in party planning mode like me you know it can be hard to find things that fit the bill for your event! If you haven’t heard of Waiting on Martha it’s a cute site where you can find tons of little extras to make your party extra special. How cute are these pineapple candles?

Summer always reminds me how important skin care is as I try to stay away from getting any sun damage and keep my skin hydrated, these all seem like great products!!
