We’re kicking this week off with another 5 Happy Things because there’s a lot to be excited about around here. This weekend was another great one that went by too quickly. It was a perfect mix of getting things done and enjoying the weekend and beautiful weather here. The Giants won last night and so did the Rangers and we had wings to celebrate, so our house was a very happy one.
This week is packed and as the holidays continue to sneak up on us I’ll be sharing some other fall style ideas and some gift guides as well. Here’s what’s been happening!
1. Our swivel chairs arrived!
We ordered chairs through Scout Design Studio during our trip to Dallas at the end of the summer and they finally made it to NYC and into our little apartment. We’re absolutely in love with them (if you follow my rare Insta stories I showed them this weekend) and will be sharing more details soon!
2. MG’s birthday is this Saturday
I love birthdays! I’m way more excited about his birthday than he is, mostly because I love planning it and surprising people with things. We have a few dinners this week leading up and then some fun stuff this weekend with his friends. Note: don’t finish Paperless Post invites after you’ve had a few. Just sayin, heard from a friend you might make mistakes.
3. The Election is almost over
IT’S ABOUT TIME. I’m way over it. Like, beyond over it. I know the aftermath will linger for a while, but I just can’t wait for it to be done.
4. All of our bedroom furniture has arrived now
We had a lot of deliveries last week! Our last nightstand and lamp and our rug finally arrived. Thankfully they’re all exactly what we expected and there will be no returns, so our bedroom is almost done. Woo hoo!
5. Fall flats are on their way
I ordered a pair of beautiful flats last week that I can’t wait to arrive today! I love the laser cut detail and the color will be a nice complement to all of the brown and black I’ve been wearing lately.
