If there’s one thing in my closet that I would say I’ve sort of figured out over the years it would be jeans and sweaters. You really just need a few good ones to invest in and then the rest can be more inexpensive fillers. If you live anywhere cold, you know what I mean!
In the late fall and winter I go to work in sweaters almost everyday. It’s important to have some variety to feel like you’re not wearing the same thing over and over again, but at the end of the day you can really only own (and store) so many.

Some of my favorite sweaters have been from Free People, H&M, and brands I love from Nordstrom. While I tend to keep most of mine in the same color family, it’s an easy way to add some life and color to your drab winter days!
Speaking of, but we’re off to an extra cold start here in New York and it has been tough to motivate myself to stick to my routines. Do you guys have any advice for staying motivated when it’s freezing out?
