I feel like New York has rubbed off on me in so many little ways – I walk way faster than I ever have in my little legged life, I don’t even remember what cooking is like, and I find myself shopping less because I just don’t have as much room in my closet. The other day I went to wear a seemingly normal outfit to work and grabbed this easy ruffled hem sweater tee and my ripped skinny jeans and decided I needed to give them a little twist. Besides, it was a Wednesday and everyone needs a little somethin’ to get through hump day, am I right?
I reached for my flannel shirt that ended up getting a lot of wear around the holidays and instead of grabbing flats or ankle boots pulled on my over the knee boots that get more wear than almost anything that I own. There’s something about having tall boots on, a little touch of leather and a waist-wrapped shirt that just made me feel so sassy. My friends and I have always said that we each have our own versions/ levels of sass and to be honest, I think I’ve been missing mine lately.
So with the tie of a shirt and the lift of these boots, we were back in business for the day at least and feeling so very much like the downtown New Yorker that I am (kinda). In other news I have a hair dilemma. To balayage again or not to balayage again. That’s the question.. and I need your help with an answer. Go!
