Remember that beautiful pleated skirt from Tuesday? It’s back! One of the reasons why I love a statement skirt like this is that it’s easy to keep wearing in different ways. I styled it previously for showers or a slightly more dressy occasion, but also think it’s easy to pair with a casual top.
This outfit is actually perfect for more than just brunch. I’d wear it on a date, out for drinks, dinner with the girls, pretty much anywhere! The top is a new closet staple – it’s comfortable, easy and I can wear on its own or with a jacket going into the fall.
If you’re anything like me, you get super excited for brunch – it’s my weekend treat and such a fun opportunity to catch up with girlfriends. It’s a running joke with my sister that if she calls me on Saturday morning between the hours of 11am and 1pm, she always asks me if that’s where I’m headed. I can’t help what I love! When I do have fun brunch plans I like to get a little dressed up. What can I say, I’m a girl who likes her eggs benedict in heels and with a little color!
Tip To Transition For Fall: Add a chunky knit and ankle booties and pull your hair up into a messy bun!
