Can you really top walking out of your house on a Monday feeling like a million bucks? That’s what this outfit does for me.
I’ve been trying to pull myself together more than usual to kick off the beginning of a new week–they’re coming and going too quickly lately and I’ve been finding myself sinking into that winter rut. I snagged two new very basic sweaters (this white one and this one in black) and a pair of white loafers and on the first slightly warmer day broke them out for a head-to-toe look in all of my current favorite pieces.
This coat was one of the best things I’ve added to my closet in a long time–I wear it most days of the week and not to mention generally have a really tough time finding petite coats. Club Monaco.. bravo. I’m sad to say it’s basically sold out now but will keep an eye out if they restock it! They also tend to bring back some of their best coats every year.
I didn’t jump on the white boot trend, but I’m all aboard the white loafer train. I’m so excited to wear these with shorts and little sundresses when I can finally ditch my jeans. I also recently discovered DL1961 thanks to my Stitch Fix stylist (in case you missed it, my post here on why I love Stitch Fix!) and couldn’t be happier with this pair. FINALLY a pair that has rips at my knees and not my shins like all of the other pairs out there.
Sometimes it’s just about finding the pieces that make you happy, even if they’re all black/white/camel and super simple. Who’s with me?
