Summer is undoubtedly my favorite season for a number of reasons. Not only do I just love warm weather, but everything about summer is better in my opinion. Food, drinks, sandals, shorts, and best of all – easy dresses. It takes me far less time to get ready and I can use that time to soak up some extra minutes in the pool.
This past weekend at the wedding I think the only things I packed were sundresses and a couple pairs of sandals and my favorite shorts.  I think my entire “getting ready” time was cut down to about 10 minutes tops, which is the absolute best when you’re on vacation. Wet hair, don’t care.. don’t you agree?

If you love chambray, you have to see this chambray top from a few weeks ago. It’s a great piece for taking a summery feel into fall! This week is another major catch up week before we head to Dallas for another wedding and some long overdue family time. I haven’t gotten to spend Father’s Day with my pops in a little while so I’m really looking forward to that. What are your Father’s Day plans?
