Fashion week was a quick, but exciting blur. Due to some very first world/blogger problems with my Dropbox syncing before my trip this slew of posts is a few days later than I had planned, but I’m excited to share my experience with you guys!
I started the week with a beautiful presentation and launch of Dee Ocleppo, the stunning and talented wife of Tommy Hilfiger. I had the pleasure of meeting them both and they couldn’t have been sweeter and more excited about Dee’s line. It’s vibrant, radiates a tropical getaway vibe and is inspired by their love of travel (which I share) and Dee’s desire to create bags that are beautiful and functional (which I really appreciate).
While some of the bags have more exotic shapes fit for a trip to the Greek Islands or Turks and Caicos, there were plenty of everyday options for Spring and one in particular that I fell in love with named after a city on my bucket list – Hong Kong. She created a crossbody with a studded chainstrap and fringed body (this version isn’t on the site just yet) that fits just enough of what you’d need to take out and allows you to use your phone while it’s still in the purse. It’s a must have, especially for a girl on the go! Which color is your favorite? I loved them all, but I think the white or pink won me over. It’s a home run, right?
More to come from my New York Fashion Week adventures this week!
