Spring and Winter are fighting and right now Winter is winning… they can’t decide who’s turn it is! Thankfully I’ve been able to lightly layer some newer pieces that are extremely cozy, but are still cute and make me feel less drab and sad about the cold weather lingering.
Last week I co-hosted an event at Peruvian Connection in Lincoln Park with Stephanie of The Glitterary and Caitlin of Pretty and Fun and it was a blast! The clothes at PC are beautifully made and I was so thrilled to take home this draped sweater made of pima cotton. I love the print – it makes just enough of a subtle statement. I ended up styling the sweater over a jersey tank dress and pulled it together with a cognac leather wrap belt. My favorite thing about draped sweaters like this is you can turn it from a comfortable, snuggle up sweater to a dress with a simple belt. If you didn’t see, check out the picture I posted of how I styled it!
I opted for something a little more casual for the office pairing it with skinny jeans, black clogs and a slouchy Brandy Melville t-shirt that Melanie and I picked up in our few free hours in LA a few weekends ago. I’m so grateful to everyone who came out for the event! It was a fun night and the pisco sour drinks were delicious. In case you weren’t able to make it or didn’t snag the item you had your eye on, you can still take something home! I’m giving away a $50 gift card to Peruvian Connection that can be yours with a few simple follows :). The giveaway ends on Thursday, 4/3 at midnight.. good luck!
