How was your Labor Day weekend? Ours was extremely relaxing and lots of fun. The weather held out the forecasts and was actually relatively nice all 3 days. I loved that we were able to spend more time outside and even though it wasn’t as hot as it had been, got a little tan going by the end of it.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but with fall around the corner I’m actually getting excited about some new pieces and a few layers! I’m usually the one to cling to summer with all of my might, but I wouldn’t mind a slight change of pace and some cooler temps. I hadn’t shopped too much this summer with the move and trying to make sure we were able to spend on things for the new place, but I’m finally letting myself peek around and there are some great pieces for fall!

I’ve been trying to nail down my “fall style” this season (more to come on this later this week) and have been inspired by textures, simplicity, and that undone, done up look. Here are some of my favorites as of late, Happy Monday!
