After Christmas and Thanksgiving, the 4th of July is my next favorite holiday. I have nostalgic memories from growing up of watching fireworks with my family at the ballpark, being out on the lake with friends, and am excited about the festivities this year!
In preparation I’m sure you’re looking for some inspiration if you are hosting or attending a party and aren’t sure what to bring. I’m always storing my favorite ideas on my Holiday Pinterest board so that I have them all in one place.
I’ve thrown parties around the 4th and Memorial Day before and some of my favorite things to make (and always a crowd pleaser) are spiked fruit popsicles or these patriotic yogurt ones. You can also snag a star ice mold from a party store and add some blueberries and strawberries to your drinks for a quick patriotic twist.
For something a little more savory, try this jicama salsa that’s vibrant and delicious with tortilla chips. If you’re looking for something sweet, I love these little sno cone cupcakes that look just like the real thing. What are your 4th of July plans?
I’m not American, but love these ideas.
This is adorable! And those cupcakes, oh my gosh!! Just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Thanks for rounding these recipes up:)
