Gray Turtleneck Jumper

Maybe it’s the 5+ years I’ve spent living in cold climates now, but I think I’m getting a little better at this whole “getting dressed in the winter” thing.

I’ve learned that having a few good staples will make this daunting task so much easier when you open your weather app in the morning and cringe a little bit. One of my favorite pieces in my winter wardrobe is this gray turtleneck jumper (did you know jumper = sweater? me neither until this year!) that my friends over at French Connection nailed this past season.

It’s super warm, comfortable, easy and goes with just about everything. Now’s the time to pick things like this up super on sale! I recently paired it with my favorite steal of a coat and the best neutral pumps I’ve found in a long time. It happened to be a bit warmer this day, but you could do the same look with a pair of neutral ankle boots or my favorite winter staple: over the knee boots.

I’ve had these Madewell skinny jeans for a year or so now, and they never get old and surprisingly haven’t faded a bit. I’m a big fan of their denim, not only because it fits really well but also because they’re such a cool company – if you bring in a pair of any old denim you will get $20 off your next purchase.
