Winter. We’re right in the middle of it and it’s not going anywhere for a little while. Aside from planning a few getaways when I can, I’m trying to embrace the cold and find ways to wear pieces I’ve pushed aside here and there.
I have a serious affinity for slouchy, grandpa sweaters. There’s something about the cold weather that just makes me want to mix oversized pieces with feminine and flirty ones and so to me, it was a perfect pairing with this simple gray dress I’ve had for a few months.
I’ve been trying really hard lately to find other ways to wear my summer dresses out of season and so this is attempt #2. You know what else you can do that never fails? #throwascarfonit.
Over the knee boots can be tricky for petites. I’m sure some would argue that they’re not really as doable or that you shouldn’t wear them with skirts or dresses, but I would disagree. I’m all about giving new things a shot (and besides, they make for warmer days for my legs!). What are your favorite ways to change it up this winter?
