Holiday parties are one of my favorite parts of the month of December! I love a good excuse to get dressed up and go out on the town… not that I always need one :).

This is my first Christmas in New York and also my first Holiday party in my new job, and of course the question that always comes up is.. what are you wearing? I’ve found that there are so many different types of parties during the Holidays that allow flexibility in what you choose.

Some parties may call for a cocktail dress with more sophisticated accessories, while others can mean letting loose a bit in a metallic top with lace skirt.  One of the hottest trends this year for evening looks have been jumpsuits – they’re everywhere and such a great alternative to a dress.
