It finally happened. After years and years of somehow avoiding the inevitable, I need to embark on a hunt for a pair of glasses for everyday wear when my eyes feel strained.
Growing up I always felt so lucky that I didn’t need glasses mostly because I would’ve probably lost them, broken them or just flat out not worn them. Admittedly when I was in 5th grade I was curious and messed up a few letters in an eye test to warrant myself a slight enough sight issue to get a pair. I hated them and never wore them (also because I didn’t actually need them).
To be honest I have no idea where to start! I have never paid attention in the past to eyeglass companies and now that I need to start looking I can’t remember any of the ones I’ve heard people talk about in the past. When it comes to sunglasses I usually like round vs. square frames and something a little larger with my face shape. I’m thinking a lighter tortoise or even a lighter shade. A girl who used to work in our office had dark brown hair and clear frames and I always thought they looked so cute!
Most recently I had discovered Classic Specs for sunglasses. There’s always Warby Parker, but I need to find some that fit my face shape just right. I’m also looking for ones with anti-glare and maybe even come in a lighter frame.
What do you think? Do you have any recommendations? I can use all the help I can get!
