With her sister Samantha Ronson making an appearance in her show, Rebecca Minkoff showed looks that would definitely appeal to a younger crowd of women who enjoy the bohemian chic aesthetic and topped it off perfectly with a live band “The Ghost of Saber Tooth Tiger.” The accessories and dresses killed and I was a huge fan of the flowing, full length, v-neck printed sheer finale gown. I can hear all of the gasps as I say this – but seriously I can’t wait to see someone rock this dress somewhere and read all the smack about how it’s see through. It’s called a slip … duh.

This was definitely one of the coolest shows at fashion week. It’s kind of like getting to see the Project Runway fashion show, but in a more relaxed environment and sans all of the snarky comments at the end. It also marked the 10th showing of AAU at NYFW! It’s a chance to see 6 inspired creations each from 7 students at AAU. If you would like to see the show you can check it out here!
