After waiting on what felt like pins and needles to see what was happening with this hurricane, I’m excited to say that we’re currently on our way to DC and then on to Virginia for a wedding! One of our closest family friends’ daughters (and my godsister) is getting hitched this weekend in Charlottesville and I am so thrilled that we’re all headed down there to see it.
I don’t know if it’s that I can’t wait to see my family, or if it’s that I’m so excited for Mickey to finally meet my sister and brother-in-law, or if it’s just that all of the people who our family has been close to since I was a little girl will all be together in one place … whatever it is I’ve been excited about this weekend for months!
With 4.5 hours each way on a bus (my first bus trip ever, by the way) I’m looking forward to catching up on a lot. I have a few fall looks coming your way next week and a lot of content that’s been started but not yet finished.. some that I can’t wait for you to see!
