Nothing says summer like throwing on a quick and easy dress that’ll transition from day to night.
One of my favorite days is always that spring Saturday at home where I happily pull down all of my sweaters and replace them with dresses that I’ve been eagerly waiting to wear. As much as I love jeans year-round, dresses are my go-to in the warmer months to keep it easy.
This weekend was perfect in the most laidback way. Our apartment is clean and organized (really the best feeling), we read, caught up on some long overdue errands, enjoyed two back to back mornings of sleeping in, and celebrated the great progress we made on the wedding front last week.
I’ll be sharing more soon, but we’re working our way down the list of major items! We’re on catering and save the dates at the moment and will be looking into photographers and videographers next. It’s getting more real by the day and we’re so excited!
Back to this look – one of my very best friends is in town this week and we’re getting dinner with her tomorrow night. It’s been a little bit since we’ve entertained someone in the city and so we’re taking her to City Vineyard for some seafood and dinner with a view. I love dresses like these and more importantly shoes like these that look put together all day and into the night. I scooped up these heels last summer and they have definitely earned themselves back in wear already! They’re so comfortable and the block heel is just enough to still make them all-day kind of walkable.
Hope you guys had a good weekend – it feels good to be writing again!
