I’m a never say never kind of girl, and a few weekends ago proved this to be true once again when I was doing some weekend shopping and popped into Zara. I hadn’t ever been a huge a fan of cargo pants, but this particular pair caught my eye and convinced me that I needed to take them home. The gold detail of the zippers did me in! I love little details like that. I decided to pair them with two gold tassel necklaces layered over one another to make the gold accents pop even more.
My only other pair of ankle zipper jeans are ones I also picked up from Zara. Being on the shorter side, I’m always excited to find a pair of pants that I don’t have to take to the tailor. The great thing about these is that I can still wear them with flats if the zippers are undone! I am still enjoying being able to lightly layer with vests like this one (seriously one of the best purchases I’ve ever made) while we’re finally making our way into Spring and hopefully Summer soon.
We had a beautiful weekend in the city and I’m so sad that it’s over, but excited to have my sister in town this weekend and for some fun activities during the week! My highlights were two fun dinners with friends and finally crossing off everything on my long to-do list! How was your weekend?
