This season I’m really feeling the layering! I love being able to incorporate a piece like a thicker cardigan or sweater as a coat and even add accessories like a belt or simple scarf to finish a look. I’ve been more interested in finding pieces like these than coats thanks to our in-between weather. Come winter it’s easy to throw on a coat over these for added warmth.
I keep seeing longer versions like this one in thicker, warmer textures making them cozy and perfect for an easy outfit to wear to the office. They also pair well with a slip dress for a fancier twist on what seems like a purely casual piece.
I scooped up this cream version recently and also picked up this cashmere one over the summer on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So far neither have disappointed!
