When it comes to dresses, I have a weakness for the basics. I have far too many LBD‘s and LWD’s and the trouble is I have a really hard time veering off of that course.
A few weeks ago I was back home in Texas and stopped into Nordstrom with my mom and sister. This bright coraly-orange Topshop dress immediately caught my eye and after I tried it on, I was sold.
Every now and then you just need a dress that truly packs a punch in terms of color. In this case the embroidery is really beautiful, but the color really makes the dress. I snagged this one for one of the three weddings that I have coming up – which I can’t wait for!
Speaking of weddings, it’s crazy how busy this season is for everyone I know! I’m dying for some of my friends to be back in town on the weekends and also looking forward to the ones we have as well. I’m sharing a post over on The Outfit, People StyleWatch’s site about 4 different weddings and how to dress for them. Pop on over and check it out!
