A Combo That Never Fails: Camel and Black

topshop sweater, lace sleeve sweater, nude heels, camel and black, nordstrom

And we’re back!

If you read my last post you know that this year is all about carrying out the lessons I learned last year and building on them. One of those was to give myself time and balance – I took some time off around the holidays from the blog because with work and my personal life December was crazy as I’m sure you can all relate to!

Also, if you were anywhere in the U.S. this past week you know it was also f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g. I’m looking forward to a “warmer” week ahead and a chance to put on something other than snow boots.

Now that we’re “in it” and have a few months of winter ahead, I’m looking for sweaters that are in my go-to color palette but aren’t the same thing that I already own. You can only have so many chunky turtlenecks! (quite literally because we don’t have a ton of closet space)

I found this lace sleeve sweater and thought it was unique enough to stand out in my sea of sweaters, but kept with one of my favorite color combos that never fails in the colder months. I find that I wear more camel and black in colder months and it has really become my winter uniform as of late. I usually try to swap out heels or something fun for the day if I’m in the office so that I don’t feel like I’m wearing boots for months at a time.

Speaking of winter, I’d love to hear what other content you guys would like to see! I’ve been cooking more and we’re starting to get into our wedding planning so am curious to know if those topics would be of interest. Always looking to share more of what you guys want!
