There are 4 sales a year that get me more excited than most guys get about the Super Bowl, World Series or Stanley Cup combined: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, Neiman Marcus Last Call, the Net-A-Porter summer sale, and most recently the Net-A-Porter Friends & Family sale in New York.

A friend of mine works for the Net-A-Porter group and scored me a coveted ticket to their legendary friends and family private sale last month and it didn’t disappoint. I bee-lined straight for the shoes when I arrived during my time slot and promptly put these white Gianvito Rossi pumps in my bag when I saw them.

I haven’t owned white shoes for whatever reason since I was little, but they’re definitely having a moment right now. There are several versions out there for every budget, like these Pact pumps under $100 and some Manolo Blahnik’s for more of a splurge.

They’re extremely versatile and a welcome change to my black heels that I’ve been rocking regularly since November. I also scooped up the softest Proenza Schouler sweater at the sale and have already worn it a few times because it’s such a beautiful material and interesting print. Would you give white pumps a shot?
